Pune: Keystone School of Engineering has marked a groundbreaking achievement by filing 110 copyrights in Artificial Intelligence (AI), reaffirming its commitment to innovation, research, and technology-driven education.

The copyrights encompass a wide range of academic and creative outputs, including AI-powered software codes, research articles, subject-specific presentations, educational videos, posters, blogs, and even poems centered on AI.

Booklet Unveiled at Keystone School of Engineering

To celebrate this milestone, a comprehensive booklet featuring all 110 filed copyrights was unveiled during the institute’s Independence Day celebrations.

The unveiling was led by Padma Shri Dr Sanjay G Dhande, Former Director of IIT Kanpur and current Chancellor of Avantika University, Ujjain, who was the Chief Guest at the event. The program was further graced by Milind Inamdar, President of Cyret Technologies, as the Guest of Honor.

Leadership Endorsement of AI Milestone

In his congratulatory message, Dr Dhande commended Keystone School of Engineering for setting an exemplary benchmark in fostering AI adoption. He stressed the need for India to focus on defense technology innovations within engineering education to strengthen national security.

Principal Dr Sandeep Kadam highlighted that technology, particularly AI, is evolving at an unprecedented pace, reshaping engineering education globally. He added that Keystone is fully committed to supporting this transformation and encouraging faculty innovation.

Keystone School of Engineering’s Focus on AI Excellence

Founder Director Prof Yashodhan Soman emphasized Keystone’s proactive initiatives in advancing AI education. These include:

  • Establishing a Center of Excellence for AI
  • Mentorship from industry experts
  • Offering honor courses in collaboration with Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU)

International partnerships with Illinois Tech University, Chicago (USA) and Malaysia University of Science and Technology, Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia) to drive joint research, training, and development projects.

The event was coordinated under the leadership of Prof Suwarna Phule, Prof Pankaj Karande, and Prof Deepali Misal. Faculty, staff, students, and dignitaries including Ankit Lunawat and Dr Prashant Kasabe actively participated in the celebrations.
